Financial Aid

The Columbus State University Financial Aid Office offers a wide range of student financial assistance. The office provides information and aid to students seeking scholarships, grants, part-time employment and loans. Financial aid may be awarded based on financial need, academic ability, and/or leadership potential.

Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for consideration of federal, state and institutional aid programs. Many scholarship programs require this application. The application is available online at the Federal Student Aid website.

Students who wish only to receive the HOPE Scholarship may apply on-line at the Georgia Future website

Students are urged to apply early for optimum financial aid benefits. For additional Information on deadlines, please review our website.

In order to receive financial aid from federal or state financial aid programs, the student must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards as required by federal regulations. Please review CSU's Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy for the requirements.
