Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements - M.S. Kinesiology 
In addition to CSU graduate admission requirements:  
1. Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health & Physical Education, or a related field.  
2. Applicants must have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. 
3. Applicants are required to submit a Statement of Purpose outlining their academic background, relevant experience, and professional career goals related to the field of Kinesiology. 
Students not satisfying the admission requirements may be considered for conditional admission to the program. To remain in the program, students must complete the first 9 semester hours with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Upon successful completion of these requirements, the student will be granted unconditional admission. Students who fail to meet the conditional admission requirements will be dropped from the program for a period of one calendar year. After this time, students may petition for readmission.
