Campus Safety & University Police
The Columbus State University Police Department (CSU Police Department) is a fully authorized state law enforcement agency providing comprehensive police and public safety services to both the Main Campus and RiverPark Campus. The department works closely with other regional public safety partners to ensure a coordinated approach to campus safety.
CSU Police operates under a community policing philosophy, emphasizing crime prevention, problem-solving, and strong partnerships with the campus community. Through engagement, education, and proactive policing, the department is committed to providing the level of safety, service, and support that CSU students, faculty, staff, and visitors deserve.
The CSU Police Department headquarters is located adjacent to the Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center at the corner of College Drive and East Lindsey Drive (see the campus map at www.ColumbusState.edu/maps/). Officers also staff a police station on the CSU RiverPark Campus in downtown Columbus to ensure a visible and responsive presence across all university locations.
